The Adult Ministry here at St. Aloysius aims to call all people to a better understanding of God and the way He calls us to live our lives. How can we grow closer to God and the Church he has instituted? We can do this through many different avenues, and this ministry gives the opportunity to do that. Through service opportunities to fellowship/discussion series and lectures, we are sure that you can find something that will bring you to where you would like to be in your faith.
There are many ways in which you can volunteer your time as an adult here at our parish. Several different ministries need your help! We are always looking for volunteers to help with Children’s Liturgy, the Greeters' ministry, Baptism preparation classes, and much more. These are all wonderful ways to give some of your time to a greater purpose. Whether helping children grow closer to God while keeping them entertained or aiding to new parents in the joy of bringing their children to the Faith, you can rest assured that your time will not be wasted. To serve is to love, and what better way to serve than to be alongside other adults?
The Sacrament of Confirmation strengthens the graces we received during baptism. The Catechism’s section on Confirmation says that Confirmation is a special outpouring of the third person of the Holy Trinity, the Holy Spirit. The Adult Confirmation Program is suitable for any parishioner over the age of 18 who has been baptized and who has received First Communion, but who has yet to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

This program, part of our Faith-Formation Program for adults, is the process through which adults and older children are introduced into the Church, becoming members of the Body of Christ. The program is offered every year for those interested in joining the Catholic faith.
