The Sacrament of Baptism is the sacrament that welcomes us into the Catholic faith. It is through this Sacrament that we are freed from Original Sin and become prophets, priests, and kings.

Our parish counts on a group of volunteers who help young families who want to have their children baptized. This is such a happy and exciting time for young families, and it is joyful for us as well to share in their happiness as we assist with the preparation for the celebration of the Sacrament by giving families a clearer understanding of what will happen that day, and also what this means going forward for them as they raise their child in the Catholic faith. This team appreciates the importance of this formation of parents and godparents and strives to reinforce the need for them to be actively involved, as a family, in the life of the church so they can always guide their children to God.
