“'I have baptized you with water; he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.'”
- Matthew 13:11
The Sacrament of Confirmation, one of the sacraments of initiation, strengthens the graces we received at Baptism. The Catechism calls Confirmation a special outpouring of the third person of the Holy Trinity, the Holy Spirit. Confirmation helps us to become more deeply rooted in divine filiation (being children of God), unites us more firmly to Christ, increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit in us, strengthens our bond with the Church and associates us more closely to her mission of bearing witness to Christ. More information can be found here: Sacrament of Confirmation.
Our parish celebrates the sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion together at a special Mass, officiated by the bishop, with all eligible children (third grade or older) who have participated in our Youth Faith Formation Program. Details for the current year's program are here:

Parishioners over the age of 18 who have been baptized, received First Communion, and are practicing their faith but have not celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation are invited to participate in our Adult Confirmation Program. Those who participate become eligible to be confirmed by the bishop at a special Mass held at St. Joseph Cathedral in Manchester, NH.
