The seven sacraments are the way God draws us, by grace, into the life of His Son. They are mysteries instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church that give God's grace by bringing about what they signify, gathering us into sacred union with the Holy Trinity and each other. Our daily existence is transfigured by the effects of the sanctifying grace poured out by the Holy Spirit in each of the sacraments, to the glory of God.
